But here’s the thing — those jitters don’t mean you’re not ready. They mean you care. They mean this matters to you. That adrenaline? That’s your body getting fired up for something important. And honestly, that’s a powerful thing.

Here’s what I remind myself (and now you):

  • Nerves aren’t a weakness. They’re part of the process. You’ve put in the work. You are more ready than you think.
  • Stick with what grounds you. Your favorite meals, playlists, pre-comp rituals — keep them close.
  • Talk to yourself like someone you believe in. Because you are.
  • Breathe through the chaos. Deep, steady breaths can work wonders when the mind starts racing.
  • Visualize the win. Not just placing or performing well — but walking away proud of what you put out there.
